General Overview: The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the successful execution and delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective and compliance with company policies and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Estimation Vs Cost Control
- Issuance of Variation Orders and Quotations
- Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Collaboration with other team members and Reporting to Management
- Coordinate purchase schedules with project timelines and material lead times
- Propose value-engineering alternatives where applicable
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or cost
- Maintain procurement records and supplier databases
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and/or Civil Engineering
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- Attention to detail
- Ethical and professional conduct
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
