Larnaca marina project
Being the largest investment in Cyprus to date, the long-awaited port and marina development will be a landmark for the city of Larnaca and the wider area. The development has officially entered the implementation phase with the signing ceremony taking place at the Presidential Palace last week.
Specifically, this project envisages expansion of the Larnaca marina and the construction of a modern passenger terminal to host large cruise ships. In addition, special emphasis will be given to the connection of Athens Avenue at Phinikoudes with Famagusta Avenue (Larnaca Tourist area) as it will enhance the quality and diversity of leisure and business options in the area.
This ambitious redevelopment project will meet the long-standing demand of Larnaca residents and lay strong foundations for future growth. Its implementation will not only upgrade Larnaca to the standard of other towns, but also bring significant economic and social benefits, both locally and nationally. It will surely be a point for reference for Cyprus, but also for the Eastern Mediterranean region.
Laranaca marina vision
The President of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, pointed out that ‘the goal and vision was and remains the transformation of Larnaca into a modern European city’.
Additionally, the Ministry describes the completion of the tender as a milestone for the city of Larnaca as it plays a significant role in the advancement of Larnaca into a tourism and business hub.
As part of this transformational project, Marinakis Property Developers will be contributing to growth of the area through real estate investment so we would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to all parties involved in moving this ambitious and extremely important project forward.
